Zoning Hearing Board

NOTICE is hereby given that the East Lampeter Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a hearing on the following application at 7:30 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Township Municipal Building, 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602:

* Case #2017-20 –Application of Jason and Jennifer Lech of 569 Millcross Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, requesting a special exception of Article 5, Section 5020.C.4 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended for property located at 569 Millcross Road, Lancaster, PA 17602 in the R-1 Residential Zoning District.  The applicant wishes to have a home occupations with minimal impact in order to conduct music lessons within the dwelling unit.   

*Case #2017-21 – Application of Welsh Stone Estate, LLC, 5031 Diem Road, New Holland, PA 17557, requesting a variance of Article 3, Section 3020 for a proposed loading area within the AG – Agricultural Zoning District for a loading dock with paved areas within the floodplain district, a variance of Article 19, Section 19020 for the sales of building stone within the VC – Village Commercial Zoning District, variances of Article 21, Section 21040.J.1, 2, 3 to permit the proposed use within the Floodplain Overlay District and a special exception of Article 21, Section 21040.G.2 to permit the loading area within the Floodplain Overlay District all of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended for property located at 3056 Lincoln Highway East.  The applicant wishes to construct an addition to an existing structure with a loading dock within the floodplain overlay district and be permitted to have exterior sales areas of stone within the floodplain overlay district.

 *Case 2017-22 – Application of 2232 Lincoln Highway East LLC c/o Gary Gilbert II, 950 Smile Way, York, PA 17404, requesting a variance of Article 24, Section 24060.A for lot coverage of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended for property located at 2232 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602 in the C-3 Commercial Zoning District.  The applicant wishes to , requesting a special exception of Article 3, Section 3020.C.5 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 182 Eastbrook Road, Smoketown, PA 17576 in the AG – Agricultural Zoning District.  The applicant wishes to redevelop the existing lot and reduce the existing lot coverage, but not to the current allowable lot coverage.
