Zoning Hearing Board

NOTICE is hereby given that the East Lampeter Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a hearing on the following application at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Township Municipal Building, 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602:  

Old Business: 

* Case #2017-16 Application of Jyostna Jivani of 103 Nevermore Circle, North Wales, PA 19454 requesting a variance of Article 3, Section 3020 and Article 23, Section 23490 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 2626 Lincoln Highway East, Ronks, PA 17572 within the AG – Agricultural Zoning District in that the applicant has converted a single family dwelling into five (5) apartments which is not a permitted use.  Remand hearing per court order.

 * Case #2017-26 – Application of Angela Allison of Fastsigns, 121 Centerville Road, Lancaster, PA 176036, requesting a variance of Article 22, Section 22230. G and Table 22230.1 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 2060 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602 within the R-3 – Residential Zoning District.  The applicant wishes to install an incidental sign of 12.5 square feet when only a 4 square foot incidental sign would be permitted along Oakview Road.  This case was previously continued. 

New Business:

*Case #2018-09 – Application of Ames Reese, Inc, 2575 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-In-Hand, PA 17505, requesting a special exception of Article 21, Section 21040.G.2 and variances of Article 21, Section 21040.G.2 and Article 23, Section 23450 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 2575 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-In-Hand, PA 17505 within the I-1 – Industrial Zoning District and within the Airport and Floodplain Overlay Districts to construct additional parking spaces, drive aisles, accessways, and loading areas and an expansion of a manufacturing use containing more than 100,000 square feet. 

*Case #2018-10 – Application of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, PO BOX 8212, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8212 c/o Kenda Gardner, Esq., requesting a variance of Article 22, Section 22210 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 2105 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602 within the C-2 – Commercial Zoning District for screening and landscaping requirements. 

*Case #2018-11 – Application of Benjamin King of 2253 Rockvale Road, Lancaster, PA 17602, requesting a special exception of Article 3, Section 3020.C.5 and variances of Article 23, Section 23410.D.1 and 23410.D.2 of the 2016 East Lampeter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, for property located at 2253 Rockvale Road, Lancaster, PA 17602 within the AG – Agricultural Zoning District for a kennel operation with setbacks of 296 feet from the street right of way and property line for the run area and kennel building when 300 and 500 are required, respectively.
