Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing and consider adoption of the ordinance summarized below, at the regular meeting of the Board to be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the East Lampeter Township Municipal Building, 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall consider adoption of the ordinance, the caption of which is as follows:
ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE INTERNATIONAL
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE – 2024 EDITION
The following is a summary of the ordinance: The ordinance adopts the 2024 edition of the International Property Maintenance Code and otherwise restates the existing Township Ordinance 334, enacted February 12, 2018, which adopted the International Property Maintenance Code and provided for a structure of appeals and which also modified various provisions of the International Property Maintenance Code. The ordinance retains all the previously adopted provisions but updates the Code to the 2024 edition from the 2015 edition of the International Property Maintenance Code.
The full text of the ordinance may be examined at the Township Office during regular business hours. Copies may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof. However, because no person may be in the office at the time of desired examination, it is recommended that any person desiring to examine the document call the Township Office (Telephone No. 717-393-1567) for an appointment. Persons with disabilities who require any auxiliary aid, service, or other accommodation to observe or participate should contact the Township Office at least five days before the above date to discuss how your needs may be best accommodated.
