The East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors is considering an ordinance for traffic lights and signs. The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing and consider adoption of the following ordinance at a regular meeting of the Board to be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at the Township Office located at 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors will pass a resolution on July 15, 2024, recognizing Township resident and second-time Olympian, Casey Kaufhold, and USA Archery Teammates Catalina GNoriega, and Jennifer Mucino-Fernandez.

The community is invited to a Meet and Greet to show support for the women of Team USA Archery as they head to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The event will take place Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 4-5 p.m. at the East Lampeter Township Building, 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA. To join in the excitement and support, bring a t-shirt or other items you would like to have signed and help send the women of Team USA Archery off to Paris for Gold.

East Lampeter Township Recreation presents Yoga at Community Park on Tuesdays from 6-7 PM July 9, 2024 through August 13, 2024.

• All levels are welcome and this is a free community event.
• Please bring a yoga mat or towel.
• All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Meet at the Lions Pavilion at East Lampeter Township Community Park, 2330 Hobson Rd Lancaster, PA 17602.

East Lampeter Township is hosting a Family Movie Night on Thursday, July 11, 2024 with Encanto being shown at Flory Park starting at dark (about 8:40 PM)! This movie is a free community event and food trucks will be joining us with food items available for purchase. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and pillows for a comfy seat and a night of fun! East Lampeter Township is hosting Goat Yoga on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Lafayette Tower Park, 1905 Woodland Ave, Lancaster, PA.

• Experience gentle beginner’s yoga with pygmy goats.
• Please bring a yoga mat or towel.
• Participants must be 14 years of age or older and all participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Cost is $15 for East Lampeter Township Residents and $25 for Non-East Lampeter Township Residents.

The Lancaster County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) is a project dedicated to saving lives and property through the reduction of hazard vulnerability for the entire county. The Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency has developed a Mitigation Public Survey to assist in providing the public with an outlet to contribute to the Lancaster County HMP update.
