Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, shall consider adoption of the following ordinance at a regular meeting of the Board to be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at the Township Office located at 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The title and summary of the ordinance are as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EAST LAMPETER, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, ESTABLISHING A BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.

Section 1 establishes the Business Improvement District (BID) and names it the
Lincoln Highway Lancaster Business Improvement District. Section 2 establishes the fiscal
year of the BID as the calendar year. Section 3 adopts the BID Final Plan. Section 4
establishes the managing authority of the BID as the BID Authority. Section 5 empowers the
BID Authority to impose an assessment annually on property that is not owner-occupied
residential property, subject to certain conditions. Section 6 grants the BID Authority
responsibility for collection of the annual assessment. Section 7 provides for the
termination of the BID on December 31, 2029. Sections 8, 9 and 10 address the effect of
this ordinance on other ordinances and establish the effective date of the ordinance.

cost thereof. However, because no person may be in the Township Office at the time of the
desired examination, it is recommended that any person desiring to examine the ordinance

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EAST LAMPETER

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for the Township of East Lampeter, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, will hold a special meeting to conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 4:30 P.M. at the Township Office, 2250 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to consider the conditional use application filed by BSK Real Estate, LLC for property located at 2603 Lincoln Highway East. The Applicant seeks modification of the existing conditional use approval or, in the alternative, conditional use approval pursuant to Sections 375-3020D.(3), 375-21050.E.2(d) and 375-22230.J to permit a roadside stand for the sale of agricultural and/or horticultural products generated on the property, to permit the installation of a freestanding/monument sign, and to permit Applicant to host on-site events in support of the Applicant’s business conducted on the property.
